I am so glad it's Friday, the builders are in our office today, drilling, painting and doing general noisy, dusty building work. It's giving me a headache and a weird taste in my mouth which no amount of water, food seems to be able to shift. I have noticed what a negative person I have become, but can anyone blame me when this refurbishment of the office has taken around 8 months, there has to be a point when anyone's patience runs out. Trying to think positively- at least it looks like it's going to be finished within the next week!!! PTL.
This weekend looks set to be a quiet one, which is something I really really need, especially after last weekend's partying. Best friend's Hen night in Liverpool, very brilliant. I look foward to sleeping lots this weekend and reading (most likely finishing) one of the best books I have ever read: "Elegance". A must read for all girls. Boys should read it too, but doubt they can identify with it- would be interested to hear a guys opinion on it though.
Still undecided whether to go to the Big Jive night at Stockport Town Hall. My regular dancing partner can't make this weekend and no-one else seems to want to go. Maybe I'll just get over the whole loner attitude and just go anyway on my own.
